It started with the idea of putting information about the Divya Prabandham on the Internet. After all the data was put up, we wanted to post about the Azhwars. Since the Prabandham and the Azhwars are closely linked together, we didn't have much hesitation in posting the information here itself. But later, we had articles on the Dashavataram and were wondering where it could fit in. Instead of creating a new website, we decided to keep on adding to this one itself, even if the site's name might be misleading. So, this site is not just about the Divya Prabandham; it is much more than that. All the stuff we've put here is related to Hinduism in general but with a bias towards Vaishnavism especially the South Indian kind.
