Yes, just the latter-no insurance policy that where we could overcome the intentional acts exclusion. Some other attorney might want to take the case and chase after personal assets, but we don't do that. Remember too, that the negligent supervision claim against grandma does not involve the intentional acts exclusion, but I was concerned that the facts may be a little weak as to her. Another attorney might want to take a run at that claim. Probably the best way to proceed would be to sue dad and grandma in the same case and name them as co-defendants.
Mike Ponder over in Cape is a truly good lawyer and if he would take the case would do you a good job. The only other attorney in Poplar Bluff who you might consider would be Matt Richardson. Chasing after the assets would come after a judgment is obtained and I just don't have the time to effectively pursue that course of action, but whoever takes on the case should be prepared to do that especially as to the claim against dad. If the facts are strong enough the insurance company may well want to settle on the negligent supervision case against grandma.
