Dr. Diego A. Forero, MD, PhD is currently Research Leader and Professor at the School of Health and Sport Sciences, Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina (Bogotá, Colombia). He is a Medical Doctor (Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Colombia, 2003) and PhD in Biomedical Sciences (University of Antwerp, Belgium, 2009) and has a recognized trajectory in research on neuropsychiatric genetics. He has 131 authored international scientific publications, having a cumulative impact factor of 447.3 and an h-index of 37. Dr. Forero is Editor of BMC Research Notes, PLOS One and the American Journal of Medical Genetics B: Neuropsychiatric Genetics, has been peer reviewer for 133 international scientific publications and for 35 academic and scientific institutions.
