Our Medical Strike Team consists of twelve New York State Certified Emergency Medical Technicians.  These Firefighter / EMTs respond and assist Eastern Broome Emergency Services with providing  pre-hospital emergency medical care.

The Deposit Fire Department Water Rescue Team operates two boats and consists of nine Firefighters / E.M.S. Providers who have specialized training to respond to water rescue emergencies.  This team is part of a larger regional team made up of members from the Deposit, Windsor, West Windsor and Harpursville Fire Departments.   

The Deposit Fire Department Foam Task Force consists of Squad 22-1, Squad 22-2 and Engine 22.  These three trucks carry a variety of specialized fire extinguishing agents including Class A Foam, Class B Foam, Universal Foam, Monoammonium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate,  Potassium Bicarbonate, Purple K and Carbon Dioxide.  

This team works collaboratively with the Broome County Sheriff's Office to assist them with large-scale incidents involving acts of violence.  This team operates under the direction of law enforement personnel and assists with the retrievel / removal of patients during an inicdent.  This team is part of a larger regional team made up of members from the Deposit, Windsor, West Windsor and Harpursville Fire Departments.
