Having been a shopper for many years, I have had my own experiences with good companies and troubled ones. Having experienced disaster loss, I have been faced with repurchasing everything again. As, I go through the task of online browsing in every department you can think of I once again make my list of things which make life function more smoothly. My particular categories extend past the normal day to day household items. A big part of my functional life include Office Supplies and Art Supplies. 2 days before hurricane Katrina I was in the Office Depot. And while I watched online that My house was under water, I visited Office depot online looking for replacements of things I considered essential. So, I am happy to say that I have received permission to post referrals to Office Depot specials and Product Pages as I highly endorse this store and have verbally recommended them for years, and will continue to do so. I don't recommend anyone to buy everything at once, it takes the fun out of shopping. Pick a few stores that you can totally familiarize yourself with and watch the specials. The money you save over the years is like a part time job you didn't have to get in order to buy some of those extra things which improve the quality of life.
It will be quite a while before my shopping is done. When starting over, I had to skimp on a few things just to make it all mimic a functional existence. Now it's time to go in get the proper brands that make a big difference. Cheap pots will turn a gourmet chef into a mediocre meal maker. Without the proper tools every thing takes longer. So, I get to answer all those questions about how do I manage to get so much done, through discussions of techniques and products which cut your time in half. So, if you read something I write about being excited about a simple purchase, chances are that I am actually even more excited than I am making it sound.
