The Florida Association of Science Teachers (FAST) is the state's largest non-profit professional organization dedicated to improving science education at all levels, pre-school through college. It is the position of the Florida Association of Science Teachers that quality science education is important for all students facing a world where everyday decisions depend more and more on a sound knowledge of science. It is our goal to produce a society that understands the technology of its day and can make meaningful decisions as scientifically literate citizens. FAST is an advocate for science education in a variety of forms.
