$250 Classroom Grant
Up to ten winners will be announced and awarded their $250 at the Dept. of Science & DCSTA K-12 Conference during the Lunch with the Vendors event.
More in January will be awarded.

You must be a current DCSTA member to apply for the classroom grant. (Not sure of your membership status, email Mary Tweedy at mtweedyretired@gmail.com)

Complete application by using the following google form link: https://forms.gle/gijbh1yjmPsz9SLf9 by Saturday, October 24, 2026.
You will be asked to complete only the following question on the google application form: How would receiving this $250 Science Grant benefit your classroom and your students? (maximum 300 words)
Purchases can include for example: science resources: lab equipment ( hand lens, beakers, pipettes, safety goggles ... ) or specimens ( rocks owl pellets ... ) student rewards or incentives and/or student journals, writing tools or whatever resources will support science in your classroom.
Winners are asked to email photos of you and/or your students doing science using/benefiting from your grant money purchases to Mary Tweedy at mtweedyretired@gmail.com. Some of these science photos will be posted on our website.
