Mirror Lake in the OSU South Campus area. This was a nice, quiet, out-of-the-way place to study or just hang out.
A different view of Mirror Lake. This would appear to be looking from east to west toward Neil Avenue with the William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library in the upper right.
The Welding Engineering Building. This one was so functional and stark they didn't even name it after anyone. (Not only that, it's been demolished. Having opened for occupancy in the winter of 2005, the Physics Research Building now sits on this site.) Along with the department of Welding Engineering the Industrial Technology Education department's labs and offices were also located here. Being a major in the later department this writer spent a fair amount of his OSU career in this building. Obviously, we Industrial Technology types weren't terribly into glitz!
