Welcome to my E-Portfolio demonstrating my completion of ETEC 580 fieldwork! Throughout this process, I have been working as a teacher librarian for Mann Elementary, and Lincoln Elementary. I spent any extra time off track or after work completing fieldwork at Nelson Academy. Nelson Academy is an LBUSD traditional 6-8 school. Located in Signal Hill, the campus is open and welcoming. In this E-Portfolio you will read about all the work I have done with Ryan Noble, Nelson's school librarian.
Prior to my work with Ryan, I was getting my feet wet in a new career. I was first hired as a teacher librarian for LBUSD in September 2014. Prior to that I was working as an interventionist for LLCSD. The two elementary libraries are quite different. Mann Elementary is a very small traditional school. Although I am at 40% status with them, I am able to see every class once a week. Lincoln elementary is one of the largest track schools in the district (38 classes excluding TK) so at 60% status I only see each class twice a month.
