b. Model information literacy and transliteracy
My WebQuest teaches students the different sections of the Dewey Decimal system. They are assessed on completion and creativity of their own library maps where students are required to label all the sections and show a lot of details of all the sections of the library. Students also get the opportunity to look at several different resources that vary from articles, videos, and databases. This was a good first attempt at designing a WebQuest. My knowledge of building web pages and online courses from previous classes came into play.
