The first flow chart is demonstrating how a community library processes new books into their library. Books are selected by the librarian, then several people such as part time staff, and L.A. County NIC cataloging handle specific parts of processing new books.
The second flow chart demonstrates the process of putting on a Broadway musical performance. It gives a bigger picture of how much behind the scenes work is done on a big production. It also shows how several backstage positions connect. This was a challenging assignment because there are so many ways to organize a flow chart. However, not every way is well organized and easy to follow. It took several attempts to get the positions organized.
