Venerable steadfast fog
unwavering grace
cloaks
furious power
tide pools of serenity
Rampant majesty
engulfing beauty
crashes
saltysweet kisses
of misty spray
Advancing; receding
infinite sand
gobbled
regurgitated
recycled forevermore
California Coast - North of Big Sur 2007
Rivulet waterfalls nibble at rocks
unmoved sentinels
pounded
bathed
refreshed by the surf
Bittercold raw
sand-flea nibbled ankles
chased
and slapped
to icy scarlet
Carefree laughter of children
scampering just out of grasp
implores
us to embrace life
good and bad, each day
Pulsating
goldengreen curls
descend
to alabaster ribbons
on the shore
Dancing
mist carried rainbows
ascend
high above
lichen covered coppergreen rocks
