Pacific Coastal Hwy 2021

Completed in August 2021, this 12-day ride started in Olympia, WA and ended in Crescent-City, California using the Pacific Coastal Highway (PCH Hwy 101).    550 miles. 12 days. 19,000 feet of vertical climb.  (one rainy day, decent weather otherwise, 60F - 80F)  (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQPVb3amMgY)

THE  HIKES

Hiking in Olympic National Park in Washington State.  Location one: Obstruction Point Trailhead near Elk Mountain.  Access is thru a dirt road from Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center.  Location two:  from Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center - Hall of Moses trail + Spruce Nature Trail (with a braek at Hoh River).  Location 3:   Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park in California (near Crescent City), hiking from Grove of Titans Trailhead.   Location 4:  Big Sur Pfeiffer State Park  taking the trail up to Buzzards Roost Viewpoint  and back down.
