Simon's Friends

(CR1352-1353)

An adventuring party that began as a group of enlisted soldiers in the Army of Bloodstone who became embroiled in putting a stop to the cult of Tharizdun and the Temple of Elemental Evil. The members are Thoryn Silverstar, a humand cleric; Thalin Telemanar, a Wood Elf Ranger; Simonous Silvino, a Human Sorcerer and leader of the group; and Jerick, a half-Orc Rogue. A brief time-line for the group follows.

Timeline for Simon’s Friends (Cormyr Reckoning):

· 1322 – Witch King arrives in Vassa and invades Damara, Wolf Winter.

· 1332 – King Virdin of Damara killed.

· 1333 – Simon is born to a couple of successful merchants from Heliogabalus.

· 1339 – Damage, Inc arrives in Damara and liberates the Bloodstone Barony.

· 1340 – Bull Bunky marries Christine Tranth and becomes Baron Bunky of Bloodstone.

· 1345 – Sensing that a war is imminent, the Iron Throne begins operations in Damara, and selects a merchant from Heliogabalus to help them penetrate the market; that person is Simon’s father. Simon is sent away to boarding school.

· 1346 – Bloodstone Wars begin.

· 1347 – Stone of Corbinet stolen, Damage defeats Orcus, Witch King destroyed. Simon’s father, backing the losing side, incurs huge debts at this time as he is responsible for the failure of the majority of the Iron Throne’s interests in Bloodstone. Only the operation in Steppenhall survives. Simon’s mother, appalled that her husband was backing the Witch King, leaves him.

· 1350 – Capitol of the Kingdom is moved back to Heliogabalus. Simon’s mother flees to Hommlet to avoid the Throne’s insistence that she work off her husband’s debt.

· 1351 – Simon leaves school and joins the Bloodstone Army.

· 1352 – Simon mother dies and he begins paying off his father’s debt.
