NPCs

There are many NPCs (non player characters) in Cube World.

In cities there are local townsfolk who walk around, and shop keepers who man the stores and Inns.

Here is Sariana the Inn Keeper, clicking her will instantly sleep you through to 7am.

Upstairs you will find beds, a quick nap here will replenish your HP in no time.

Appearance

NPCs appearance varies from simple townsfolk clothes to armored adventurers and soldiers. Their class, gender and race always is different as well.

Roles

NPCs play different roles in cube world.

The townsfolk play the purpose of telling you random and sometimes useful information (or just saying your name is nice) and keeping the world a little more alive.

The different shopkeepers will sell you items depending on their profession e.g. a Weapon smith will sell you weapons while the armor smith will sell you armor etc.

Adventurers will wander around not to far away from a campsite alone or in groups from two to four and attack any hostile or neutral mobs encountered.

Some adventurers will also attack or defend the player. Dungeon defenders and bosses are also a type of NPCs.

Some NPCs will give the player a new quest without resetting the time and current quests they have.
