Boomerang Ranger
The Ranger is the most fitting choice to specialize in mid-to-long range combat, preferring to keep a safe distance from enemies.
Depending on specialization, Rangers tend to either snipe from afar or nimbly evade hits from mid-range. They wear medium armor and can attack with bows, crossbows or boomerangs and benefit from the ability of Stealth.
Equipment
Ranger Armor: Rangers are only capable of wearing Linen armor.
Ranger Weapons: Bows, Crossbows and Boomerangs. Each has a specific strength and is more suited to an individual's play style.
BOW = While it can be used for both long & short distances, its maximum range is unknown.
If an enemy is close to you while you're wielding a bow, you can use it to push the enemy back.
Move 1: Fires single arrows -deals damage -increases Mana Points
Move 2: Fires four arrows in rapid succession -deals damage (per arrow) -Uses Mana Points -Possibility of stunning the enemy
CROSSBOW = Crossbows in Cube World don't load, instead the user pulls back the string, making crossbows effectively slingshots.
Move 1: Fires single arrows -Deals damage -increases Mana Points
Move 2: Fires a single powerful bolt dealing more damage than move 1 -Deals damage -Uses Mana Points -Poss of stunning the enemy
BOOMERANG = When thrown, a boomerang follows the cursor, damaging any enemy it passes through until it returns to the character.
Boomerangs come in a few different shapes such as the classic "L" shaped boomerang, disks, rings, "X" shaped boomerangs, and "Y" shaped boomerangs. Instead of a classical circle movement, boomerangs go in a straight line in Cube World, which helps throwing it faster and also helps it come back quicker. You can only equip one boomerang at a time.
Move 1: Throws a single boomerang -Deals damage -increases Mana Points
Move 2:Throws duel boomerangs dealing more damage than move 1 -Deals damage -Uses Mana Points -Poss of stunning the enemy
Specializations
Ranger Abilities:
Kick - The player knocks back all enemies within range with a roundhouse kick. Enemies can become stunned.
Retreat - The player jumps backwards (towards the camera).
Sniper
Snipers use stealth and precision to eliminate their enemies.
Aim - This is a Sniper specialization skill. The player enters stealth to camouflage with their surroundings. Stealth increases damage, critical strike chance and MP regeneration. The player’s movement cancels this ability.
Scout
Scouts are quick ranged fighters who use fast movements and attacks.
Scout's Swiftness - This is a Scout specialization skill. The player's speed increases allowing them to attack and move faster. Lasts for a duration determined by the amount of points contributed to this ability.
