We need Parent Volunteers!
 
 
Troop 110 offers an active, high-quality BSA program to our Scouts, but to do this, we need help from all our parents. 


Help is always welcome with Outings, Campouts, or other Activities!
Check out the Activity Calendar which is updated frequently.

 
Below are listed specific, immediate needs for the Troop.
 
If you are interested, please contact the Scoutmaster or Committee Chair.

Committee Member (Closed)

  •  Attend Committee Meetings the 1st Wednesday of the Month
  • Participate on Boards of Review held during most Troop Meetings

On-line:  YPT, Fast Start, This is Scouting, Troop Committee Challenge

Time Commitment:

Function is performed during Committee or Troop Meetings

Mentor (BOR)

Advancement Chair, other BOR members



Popcorn Kernel (Closed)

  • Attend Council kickoff meeting in August. 
  • Send Troop e-mails concerning key dates
  • Collect orders from scouts, consolidate orders, place Troop order, collect funds from scouts, coordinate collection time for Troop Order, organize a collection times for patrol / individual orders.
  • Attend Troop meetings to advertise and encourage scouts to sell.

Council kickoff meeting in August

Time Commitment:

Concentrated commitment August – December, 20 – 25 hours total. 



  

Court of Honor Coordinator (Closed)

  • Develop script, obtain list of scout advancements from Advancement Chair.
  • Find / mentor Masters of Ceremony, Historian to provide slide show, organize equipment needed
  • Communicate with Adult Leaders as program develops

Time Commitment:

6-9 hours total, spread over 4-week period prior to each COH



  

Court of Honor Hospitality (Closed)

  • Coordinate Milk and Cookies for each COH

Training Required:

Time Commitment:

3-5 hours spread over two-weeks prior to each COH.  




Medical Records Coordinator (Closed)

  • Maintain a current copy of BSA medical forms for each scout 
  • Verify medical forms are filled out accurately and completely prior to accepting
  •  Issue an “Outing Set” of medical records to the Event Leader of each outing based on BSA requirements
