Spring 2013 Campout

When: May 10 and 11, 2013 (Friday & Saturday)

Where: Falcon Group Campground in Cleveland National Forest (Friday night), then Doheny State Beach (Saturday afternoon)

Address: 33°39'21"N, 117°27'37"W (5 miles off the Ortega Highway (CA-74); See map on backside.)

Who: All Crossroads Cadet Club cadets and their dads!

Departure Time: 3:15PM on Friday (5/10)

Departure Place: Calvin Christian Elementary School Parking Lot

Return Time: 5:30PM on Saturday (5/11)

Return Place: Calvin Christian Elementary School Parking Lot

What to bring:

• Do not bring electronics (iTouch, iPod, etc.). Cell phones are OK but should be used only for emergencies.

• Sleeping bag and pillow (a sleeping pad is also nice if you have one)

• Warm clothes including a warm jacket!

• Swimsuit and towel

• Beach toys

• Change of clothes (just in case they get wet, etc.)

• Tent (some tents will also be provided and/or shared between cadets)

• Hiking boots (sturdy shoes are acceptable).

• Hat and sunscreen

• Fold-up chair (optional). We will sit around the fire at night.

Food, drinks, water and all the necessary cooking supplies will be provided.
