Cadet Field Day

When: December 8 (Saturday)

Where: Valley Christian School, Bellflower, CA

Carpool: We will meet in the Calvin Christian Elementary School parking lot at 6:30AM. The counselors will be driving, but we may still need more room. Parents, please let me know if you can drive some cadets there and back.

Who: All Crossroads Cadet Club cadets

Time: Meet at Calvin Christian School at 6:30AM. It ends at about 3PM, so we should be back to Calvin at about 4:30PM. The boys can call on their way home with a more specific time.

What: Cadet Field Day is an annual event sponsored the the Southern California Cadet Council. Cadets from clubs throughout Southern California compete in field events events such as tripod lashing shelter building, knot tying, pup tent set-up, fire-building, compass reading, marksmanship, archery, flag raising, landmarks, bait-casting, nail driving, and in athletic events such as cross country, obstacle course, broad jump, relay races, softball throw, basketball shooting and soccer!
