Exclusive Essay Contest 2011-2012

“Tamilnadu 2025!”

For School & College Students of Tamilnadu

At its 12th year of awareness creation to the young minds, 'c r e s k' Trust of India, is conducting an "Exclusive Essay Contest" for the School and College students in Tamilnadu. 

v       Contest Topic: “Tamilnadu 2025” (your vision on how our state Tamilnadu should be in the year 2025)

v       Eligibility: Group1: 6th,7th,8th Group2: 9th,10th  Group3: 11th & 12th Std., Group 4: College  Students (Arts & Science, Engineering, Medical students)

v       Language: In Tamil and/or English

v       Essays should not be more than TWO pages / 450 words

Registration Procedure:

v       There are no registration fees for participating in this contest

v       Along with the essays send e-mail to indiacresk@gmail.com or cresk_india@yahoo.co.in with the following details: Name, Name of the School & Class, Father's Name,  Address,  and  Residence  Phone No. / Mobile No. & Email ID (if you want to send the essays  by post, please send the details to The Secretary,       'c r e s k' Trust of India, Senthamizh Kudil, A-2, No. 1 North Kavarai St, West Mambalam, Chennai-33 Tamilnadu)

v       Last Date for submission of essays: 25th November 2011

v       We encourage students / schools & colleges to send the essays thru e-mail, if it is not possible, please send the essays by post/courier

v       Schools & Colleges can conduct this contest in their premises and send the consolidated essays to ‘c r e s k’ office

Selection Process:

v       Three Winners from each Group & Five consolation prices for each Group will be chosen and special awards will be given

v       Top 5 schools & colleges which encouraged maximum number of students to participate in the contest will get special awards

v       Winners will be getting a shield, medal as well as an award of certificate from 'c r e s k'

v      Top 3 essays will be shared with Honorable Tamilnadu Chief Minister and also will be published in 'c r e s k' eNews Paper

v       All participants would be getting a participation certificate

v       'c r e s k' Trust of India judges decision will be final

Award Function: Selection Process would be complete by end of January 2012 and all participants would be sent a communication about the award giving ceremony.  Celebrities from various fields, Officials, and Educationalists would be issuing the awards to the winners and felicitate the occasion.
