Having a deep understanding of our true nature is the key to happiness and success in all areas of life. I believe that everyone has the potential for growth and healing regardless of their life story and experiences. My passion as a psychotherapist, personal development coach, ecotherapist and Menstrual Cycle Awareness Mentor is to provide a safe space for my clients to connect with their true self and their path to mental wellbeing.
My own life path to mental wellness and personal development has inspired me to share my findings with others so that they can enjoy the gifts which I have been given in the therapy, training and mentorship I have received. I have worked as a school counsellor, child and family practitioner for families affected by sexual violence and have been in private practice working with clients of all ages for the past 14 years. I have also lectured at UCS in bury St Edmunds on counselling children and have run training courses for my fellow practitioners on a variety of subjects. My clients include professionals wanting to achieve personal growth, those who have been affected by trauma, couples and young people.
The natural world constantly supports and informs my practice as well as my own health; this is why I feel the best place to receive therapy is outdoors, in communion with all the other beings, plants and animals. In my 2 year training in ecopsychology I have explored how nature can heal and connect me to my true self. By visiting wild places and emersing myself in nature through vision questing and meditation practices I have become more authentic and have found peace, healing and greater awareness that I am part of the whole universe rather than separate from it.
