Goals and outcomes Training School in Australia

The goals of the Training School in Australia “Research to policy and practice: Innovation and sustainability in cyber bullying prevention” are as follows: 

 1. Fostering collaboration between Australian and European senior and early career researchers

2. Sharing of scientific and professional knowledge and expertise in multi-disciplinarian areas of study

     related to cyberbullying

3. Making links from research expertise and findings to evidence-based practice and policy

4. Disseminate the outcomes of the training school to global community of researchers, practitioners and

    policy-makers.

Outcomes of the Training School

• Build capacities for cross-cultural and multi-disciplinarian research studies and support early career

 researchers through mentoring

• Foster, in innovative ways, analytical and critical skills in researchers ethically and professionally committed to

 the investigation and understanding of healthy youth development 

• Increase publications in inter-disciplinarian journals, such as a special edition of The Australian Journal of Guidance and Counseling, as well as to publish the book of proceedings and supporting website materials of the Australian Training School via COST facilities

• Develop a statement/declaration/report of innovative practices on cyber bullying prevention and sustained actions for dissemination to policy-makers, practitioners associations, governmental and non-governmental institutions.
