Chicken Breast Paprika
1 lb. chicken breasts
1⁄4 cup flour
1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
1⁄4 cup shortening (Crisco)
1⁄2 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons paprika
1⁄2 cup water
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
Roll chicken in flour seasoned with salt. Brown chicken. Combine onion, paprika and water. Spoon over chicken. Cover and simmer until tender. About 45 minutes. Remove chicken. Mix sour cream into onion mixture in pan and heat until it thickens, add grated lemon peel. Serve sauce over chicken with rice.
