Civl War Pharmacy Box originally owned by Dr. William Rainey Holt, a graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA. The box was later acquired by Dr. William Rankin Goley of Graham, NC.

Mrs. G. W. Kernodle, aged 62 years, died at her home in Washington, D. C. at 10 o'clock last night, following critical illness of ten days.

purchased this property and subsequently constructed the current buildings.

Mrs. W. C. Goley entertained at
a family reunion dinner on Thursday at her home on Main street.
The occasion was in honor of A. M. Fairley, her father's birthday, and
the following relatives were present: Mrs. Janie F. Robinson, of
Wilmington, and A. M. Fairley, Jr., of Charlotte. The guests were invited
into the dining room where a turkey dinner with accessories was served
buffet fashion on card tables. The central table bad a most attractive
arrangement of poinsettias and red candles. The Young People of the
M. E. church will meet Sunday evening at the church to organize an
Epworth League. All Interested persons are cordially invited to be
present.
