Lillian Marie Clark was born 2 February 1881 to artist Samuel James Clark and his wife Maria. She became a teacher and married John Michael Waldron, a ship's officer, in 1904. They had a son and lived in Gillingham in Kent, where Lillian ran a private school from home.
Lillian wrote lyrics and monologues for music composed by her brother Cuthbert. Many of these were performed by the music hall star Bransby Williams.
Lillian died in 1969.
