Denis Vere Collings

Denis was born in Barnet on 24 September 1934, the son of heraldic artist Percy Vere Collings. Like his father, he also became an heraldic artist by Royal Appointment. He was the fourth generation of his family to become a herald painter.

Denis later moved to the Plymouth area of Devon, place of birth of his great grandfather John Richard Collings. Denis passed away in 2000.
