City of Gypsum is seeking a maintenance person.  Salary range $17 - depending on experience.  Hours:  Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00, adjustable for seasons.

Job requirements:  Self-motivated with strong work ethic.  Must be physically capable of being up and down, bent over, lifting heavy objects, getting in and out of holes while doing water/wastewater system repairs, etc.  Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.  Mowing, weed eating, and yard upkeep.  Maintaining mowers and equipment.  Building and park maintenance.  Reading water meters monthly.  Street maintenance.  Ability to run a tractor and attachments.  On call 24/7 and the ability to work nights, weekends in all kinds of weather in case of emergencies.  Ability to learn and comprehend the daily duties of water and wastewater systems.
