Ordinance 1307 - Opening Ash Street

CITY OF GYPSUM, KANSAS

ORDINANCE NO. 1307

AN ORDINANCE OPENING PLATTED ASH STREET FROM CURRENTLY OPEN AND IMPROVED EAST FOURTH STREET TO CURRENTLY OPEN AND IMPROVED EAST FIFTH STREET PURSUANT TO K.S.A. 15-427 AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1306.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GYPSUM, KANSAS:

Section 1.  Street Opening.  Platted as a part of the Plat of Gypsum City, Ash Street is hereby opened from currently open and improved East Fourth Street to currently open and improved East Fifth Street pursuant to K.S.A. 15-427.  The described newly opened segment of Ash Street abuts the following described real estate:

Lots Thirteen (13), Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15), Sixteen (16), Seventeen (17), Eighteen (18), Nineteen (19), Twenty (20), Twenty-one (21), Twenty-two (22), Twenty-three (23), and Twenty-four (24); Block Nineteen (19); Plat of Gypsum City, Saline County, Kansas; and

Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7), Eight (8), Nine (9), Ten (10), Eleven (11), and Twelve (12); Block Twenty (20); Plat of Gypsum City, Saline County, Kansas.

Section 2.  Filing.   The City Clerk is directed to file a copy of this ordinance, which has been certified by the City Clerk as a true and correct copy, in the office of the Saline County Clerk and in the office of the Saline County Register of Deeds in accordance with K.S.A. 15-427.

Section 3.  Effective.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper by the following summary:

PASSED by the City Council the 10th day of June 2024.

SIGNED by the Mayor of the City of Gypsum Kansas the 10th day of June 2024.
