Savage 1/6 Brushless Conversion

This was a project and a half. I bought a nitro savage-X roller from a guy on HPISavageForums.com with a bunch of upgrades and spares for the very reasonable price of $135 shipped. I then tore the thing down completely, cleaned all the nitro crud off of everything, and then reassembled it using pretty much entirely new/different parts. In retrospect, I'd have been better off just buying a tranny, diff casings and a screw set, because just about every other part from the original roller is gone. The TVPs are a DB17 kit from GCM. The dogbones, diff gears and cups are all HD. All bearing have been replaced with Bocca. Using HPI big bore shocks with Hellfire red springs and a HPI racing suspension upgrade kit with front and read sway bars. Axles are 17mm hex conversions from HPI and the tires are Proline badlands on SPI pro stock full-offset aluminum rims. Power comes from a massive 2650KV Feigao motor and a Mamba Monster Max running on 6S lipo. The motor mount for the Feigao was custom milled by GCM. A redcat rampage 1/5 scale shell tops it all off, complete with cheesy metalic green paint and cheesier dragon decals by me.
