You don't see one of these every day. As far as I can tell, the Pirate 10 wasn't particularly popular. It probably had something to do with the tiny, anemic nitro mill and plastic gears and driveshafts that came stock. Luckily, some sucker on the internet went ahead and replaced all the crappy and/or worn parts and sold me the roller (with a ton of spares) for cheap. I intend to stick a ridiculously oversized 1/8 brushless motor in this to really give the heavy duty drivetrain a workout. This motor won't fit in the "universal" tekno motor that came with the roller, and the mount won't line up with the existing holes in the chassis plate anyway, so I'm having a machinist buddy fab me up a custom mount. This is either going to be awesome, or it's going to break itself within minutes.
