Things To Do in a Lifetime

Your dreams are free and don't cost a thing. Contemplating some things that you'd like to experience can be a fun activity. Although in reality because most of us run into issues of limits such as having the time or money to do everything we dream of perhaps we can enjoy thoroughly a few things within our reach during our time here on Earth. Here are some ideas:

1 - Get in better physical shape and eat a mindful diet

2 – Take a swim at night in the Sea of Stars at Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives

3 – Travel (Set foot on each of the seven continents. The continents (from largest in size to smallest):

Asia Africa North America South America Antarctica Europe Australia

4 – Go to Rio, the Janeiro Carnival

5 – Write a science fiction short story book

6 – Fall in love

7 – Go to a Wine or Renaissance Festival

8 – Start a garden

9 – Go to Mardi Gras

10 – Get involved with charity or volunteer

11 – Go horseback riding

12 - Learn something new

13 - Ask a stranger for a date

14 – Create a personal website

15 - Check out the Aurora Borealis

16 - Visit a museum

17 – Experience zero gravity (zero g flights)

18 – Spend a night in space above Earth. This may fit in more towards the future of Space Tourism as being a realistic option for many of us.

19 – Invent something

20 – RoadTrip on Route 66 in U.S.A -->

22 - Research your family tree

23 – Create art, or tap into your creative self with music, dance, writing or something else that moves you

24 - Look at a planet, nebula, star cluster or the moon through a telescope...Galaxies are fun too - m31 or Andromeda can be seen with a good pair of binoculars under dark skies away from city lights (ie: Celestron 15x70 SkyMaster Binocular) You don't need to spend money on equipment if you don't want to...just go to a star party near you!

25 - Using the proper equipment and being guided by someone who understands how to SAFELY do Solar Astronomy check out the Sun through a solar telescope or solar shades

26 - Witness a total Solar Eclipse, find out where and when here ---> Sun

27 - Go for a riverboat ride, scuba dive or a submarine trip

28 - Explore The Great Barrier Reef, which is the world's largest coral reef system in Australia

29 - Gratitude...ask yourself what do I have to be grateful for? This may be helpful as a practice as a reminder of the things in life you do have, instead of focusing on any thoughts of what you seem to be lacking in life.

30 - Go to a national park and get in touch with nature. Maybe go to the west coast, to California, and check out the Sequoia trees or redwood trees.

31 - Explore your spiritual side. Check out a channel that may appeal to you for a spiritual outlet. Perhaps writing or talks by Eckhart Tolle, Alan Watts, or the Dalai Lama may be helpful.
