Spanish Plastic Set

It is a staunton alike set.

The design of this chess set is based in wood spanish chess sets from 40s and 50s.

There were several companies as Marigo or Industrias del Ajedrez working to make these sets.

The one that became more popular was the Indajesa (Industrias del Ajedrez) design.

This design evolved with the time and a mold has been used to make the currently more popular club pieces in Spain.
