Colouring In Buildings Sheets and a Digital Jigsaw
Colouring In Buildings and a Digital Jigsaw
As part of Nantwich Museum's 'Our High Street (Nantwich)' Summer Exhibition, between Saturday 13th July 2024 and Saturday 21st September 2024, I produced two coloured architectural re-construction drawings of some buildings in Nantwich.
These drawings of: 46, 44 & 42 High Street; and 19 High Street; recreate the likely timber-framed buildings when they were built after the 'Great Fire of Nantwich' in December 1583, the latter of which was refaced in brick in Georgian times, and then again in the 1960s, but hides Elizabethan first floor ceiling beams, as well as its roof structure.
I have also made these drawings into black and white colouring in sheets, you may download, for children or even adults.
As well as that, I created another image of 42, 44 & 46 High Street, to be completed digitally online, with help from Dr Helen Cooke of Nantwich Museum.
