CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2021 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

Scholarships 2022 Total over $18,000

Each year CFUW Moncton gives out scholarships to women wishing to attend or currently enrolled in university. Over the years over $300,000 dollars have been given.   In addition to these local academic scholarships,  we provide a $150 award at the Greater Moncton Music Festival and $100 to the national CFUW Charitable Trust for post-graduate scholarships.

In 2018 we increased our scholarships to women going to university from $1,200 to $1,500.

In 2017 we expanded our college scholarship program by offering a college scholarship of $600 to each of the six high schools in Greater Moncton as well as one to a mature woman. In 2018, we increased these college scholarships to $750.

Scholarships for High School Women

A $1,500 scholarship is given each year to a woman from each of the following tri-community high schools: Bernice MacNaughton, Harrison Trimble, Mathieu-Martin, Moncton High, L'Odyssée, and Riverview High.

A $750 college scholarship will be awarded to each of the six high schools of Greater Moncton.

Application forms for high school students can be found with school guidance counsellors or by selecting the links above.

Scholarships for Mature Women

Three university scholarships are awarded to women who are at least 21 years old. As of 2018, two $1,500 scholarships are awarded to full-time students and one $750 scholarship is awarded to a part-time student. Women from Westmorland, Albert & Kent counties are eligible to apply regardless of the location of their university.

A $750 college scholarship will be awarded to a local mature woman attending college.
