Figured out what giftedness is and isn't
Recognized opportunities available to them
Assessed and reflected on their learner profiles
Considered out-of-the-box opportunities
Created an action plan for change
Interacted with advocates who can support their plan
These students were encouraged to share the information and skills acquired during the workshop with other students at their schools to help them learn to self-advocate.
