Amplified music at Beckenham Junction - 11pm until 2.15 - Noise Complaints/Bottling Up
Have just been speaking to Sarah Brewer from Bromley's Noise Team (sarah.brewer@bromley.gov.uk). She tells me that as a result of the police Operation Condor, Bromley's Noise team are working their way through the pubs and clubs in the borough, in order to limit noise emissions. However, they are only visiting before 11pm. They are checking that noise limiters are in place, are functioning and correctly set; doors and windows are not left open and that where conditions are attached to licences, that they are being adhered to. Not all premises have a full set of conditions attached. It will take some time to work through their list of premises, so have asked us to be patient. Since they are actually doing something, PLEASE give them feedback!!!
Bottling Up - should not be done after 11pm. Please let them know if you hear anything and tell them when it's happening. If you can't say which premises, then give them a general direction.
