Harris have received approval from DfE today for a new primary free school in Beckenham.
Residents may be interested in attending a public consultation meeting about it. The meeting is on 18th June and starts at 7:30pm. Being held at Harris Academy Beckenham (i.e. what was Kelsey Park School). Here is a Newshopper article about the school:

This news might allay the fears of parents that live in our roads about where on earth their pre-school children would end up going to school (and lack of good school places is one of the main reasons for people moving out of our roads).
