Only five years old, and the little team from Battleground, The 4-H CloverBots, came in 17th out of 152 high school robotics teams in the Pacific North West FIRST District events. They have earned an invitation to the 2015 FRC World Championship
in St. Louis! Go Team!

The CloverBots were 53rd out of 153 FRC teams in the 2014 Pacific NW District competition. Awesome job from the Little Team from Battle Ground, WA!
Remember to drive safely as you are zipping around to all your commitments on your packed calendar. For inspiration, here is the CloverBots annual Safety Animation submission.

The CloverBots were at the the 2013 Autodesk Regional FIRST Robotics Competition in March. They finished 18th out of 59 teams, and they were reserve finalists. What a difference a year can make! The robot looks like a souped-up rocking chair, but it can hurl a Frisbee 30 feet, support it's own weight while hanging from a bar, and can block other robots from scoring. With it's speedy mecanum wheels and a good driver it can hold off two robots from the opposing alliance at the same time.

The 2012 Autodesk Regional FIRST Robotics Competition was also at the Portland Memorial Coliseum. That was three days of robo-basketball, fix and modify, up and down stairs, go play in the Autodesk lounge, and don't forget your safety glasses! What an exhausting and exhilarating three days! Through hard work and perseverance, time and again the CloverBots showed they can tackle and solve problems on the fly. Good lessons, for sure.
This is a video of the 2012 competition, from the six week build season to the final event.Check out Team 3674 on Facebook. You can peruse all of their photos from the event. It's a party!
