Svarthamarhola

Svarthamarhola is a huge-room cave located in the North of Norway, close to Fauske. The chamber hosts an underground glacier that formed around 1200 A.D. The cave was intensively studied in the last years and its microclimate was monitored along several years. A recent collapse makes current access hazardous and we decided not to monitor this cave in the next years, but use the already acquired data instead.
