Costumed Carolers: Who are we?

The Carolers, after singing at the Mall of America,

November 28, 2010

The Costumed Carolers are a talented group of RFHS students who dress in Dickens Attire and sing traditional a cappella carols during the holiday season.  Rehearsals begin in October, and performances for the group start in November and end right before the school holiday.

The Costumed Carolers normally perform at the Mall of America, Vino in the Valley, the RiverDazzle parade, and various Holiday Gatherings.  Our day tour includes visiting the nursing homes and the schools in the area.

AUDITION MATERIALS:  Download and print the file "Good King Wenceslas" (at the bottom of this page).  All voices must be prepared to sing this piece.  In addition, Sopranos must be prepared to sing the descant to "Hark The Herald Angels Sing" (p. 2 and 3 of the downloaded document.)  Range and color checks will also be made.
