I drove a 1967 Camaro SS back in the 60's to high school. Candy apple red, hideaway headlights, 4 on the floor, black vinyl top. It came with a stock 350 motor new. The SS clone I have now is hugger orange with white racing stripes down the cowl induction hood. It came with a 327 racing motor. It's all restored and I have owned itfor about 15 years. Nice car!Carol Gomes on the "Red Beast" with "Best in Show" Trophy...the Beast, she be HOT...it's August! Happy Birthday Camaro Carol...August SIZZLES!
It's a real rush when you get a trophy for "Best in Show"and the trophy barely fits in your car! I danced all afternoon in the hot August sun to an oldie's rock band, never expecting to win against show cars trucked in that were in mint condition. OH SO COOL!
My camaro is driven year round. I hate taking rock chips following trucks and off road, but what is a girl to do if she wants to drive the beast? Oregon has way too much rain to sit and wait for dry weather!
Our 1967 dodge dart 2 door sedan is another cool classic. It has the original slant six 170 motor and three on the tree shift. I have yet to drop a big block in because the slant six still runs strong. I love her originality. Three on the tree brings back the 60's and that great mopar era. This car is solid and holds the road well even though it's a classic and quite dated, it has a great feel on the road. It's a beautiful car that rocks my world!
