Note the colour of the elephant which is red due to the red soil it throws on itself.
This elephant did not see us until after I had taken this photo and then
Taken by surprise, threw back it's head and trumpetted and was about to charge us.
Luckily the jeep driver knew that if he revved the engine it would be like it was roaring back at the elephant and then it calmed down and wandered off much to our relief.
Giraffe Amboseli National Park
In the Masaii we were sometimes standing out of the jeep with Giraffes who didn't seem to mind us.
