BELGIUM

International FECC President Henry van der Kroon at center and 2nd from left for 3rd annual Carnival ceremony at the town hall of Pozarevac Serbia for the occasion of the 3rd international summer carnival.

On 5/6th November 2011 there will be the celebration of 4x 11 years of the Louvain carnival "orde van de Pietermannen". Furthermore the chairman Mr.Guido Hendrickx will celebrate his "Silver jubilee" as chairman. Mr.Hendickx is also the national president of FECC Belgium.

FECC Belgium celebrates in 2012 her 25th jubilee as well with an European carnivalparade on 28th April in Louvain. For info contact Mr.Hendrickx :hendrickx.guido.annie-[at]skynet.be

Am 5./6.November 2011 wird die Feier 4x11 Jahr des Leuvens Karneval "Orde van de Pietermannen"stattfinden. Weiterhin feiert der Vorsitzender Herr Guido Hendrickx sein Silber Jubuläum als Präsident. Herr Hendrickx ist auch den nationalen FECC Präsident von Belgien. Nächstes Jahr feiert FECC Belgien ihren 25.Geburtstag am 28.April 2012 mit einen grossen Europäischen Karnevalsumzug. NETHERLANDS

On 11th November 2011 celebrate all Dutch carnival associations and clubs the "11 of the 11th"celebration. It starts at 23.11 o'clock. In all the Dutch cities the new Prince carnival will be inaugurated. This year is very imported for 11.11.11.

Also in the surrounding countries there will be celebrations on 11th November as well.

Am 11.November 2011 zelebrieren alle niederländischen Karnevalsgesellschaften die "11 der 11."Feier. Diese Feier fängt am 23.11 Uhr an. In allen niederländischen Städte werden auch den neuen Prinz Karneval inauguriert. Auch in andere Städte in den umliegenden Länder werden diese Feiern zelebriert.

BULGARIA

The Mayor of Pernik Ms. Rositsa Yanakieva and her team has offered us one of the best DIES NATALIS celebrations ever happened before. The excursion by Royal steam locomotive Pernik-Sofia and the various excursions were great. The Mayor, the vice-mayors and Mr. Kyril Manov has deserved our compliments. The Dutch brass band was a nice musical frame. Moreover the 40th birthday of the Survakari group of Batanovtsi city was a nice experience.

During the 32nd FECC Convention 2012 there will be new elections for the international board and the audit committee. This election will bring a new wind in the FECC, because the present board missed the vitality and could not collaborate together. I sincere hope that our members will participate and vote for the best team of board members

Die letzten 3 Monaten waren sehr erfolgreich. Ich habe viele Städte in Serbien, Bulgarien, Bosnien-Herzigovina besucht und den richtigen Karnevalsschwung gekostet. Es ist eine fantastische Erfahrung die wachsenden Karnevalfeiern in der ehemaligen Jugoslavischen Föderation zu beobachten, Karneval ist dort eine Art von Medizin gegen niedergeschlagenes Gefühl nach dem Bürgerkrieg. Ich erwarte eine grosse Wachstum von neuen FECC Mitglieder aus diese Länder. Während des 32.FECC Treffen in 2012 werden neue Wahlen stattfinden für einen neuen internationalen Vorstand und neue Kassenrevisoren. Diese Wahl wird einen neuen Wind innerhalb der FECC bringen, weil der heutigen Vorstand die Vitalität und die Zusammenarbeit vermisst. Ich hoffe das alle Mitglieder teilnehmen werden um den besten Vorstand zu wählen.

RUSSIA

In the famous Russian city Irkutsk there was on 4th June 2011 for the first time a carnival. The result was 7500 participants and more than 50.000 spectators.

SAN MARINO

The management the Convention & Visitors Bureau and the government of San Marino has informed us that they want to apply for membership. Moreover the director Mr. Francesco Brigante has informed us that San Marino is willing to host a FECC convention.

Die Geschäftsführung des Verkehrsamt und die Regierung haben uns informiert das mann einen Antrag für FECC Mitgliedschaft vorbereitet. Weiterhin hat Herr Francesco Brigante uns informiert das San Marino gerne Gastgeber sein will eines FECC Treffen

SLOVENIA

From 11-19th February 2012 will be celebrated the great 1rst Ethno Carnival in Ptuj under the nameKURENTOVANJE ART & HERITAGE 2012. This celebration is a part of the celebration of European Cultural Capital. The chairman of the organizing committee is Mr. Branko Brumen.

The committee expect groups from 5 continents. Ptuj hopes that many FECC cities will come. Info ;branko.brumen-[at]js-ptuj.si

Der Oberbürgermeister von Pernik Frau Rositsa Yanakieva und ihres Team haben uns ein der schönsten DIES NATALIS Feiern gegeben. Die Ausflüge mit z.B. der Königlichen Lokomotive von Pernik-Sofia und die verschiedenen Ausflüge waren schön. Der Oberbürgermeister, die Vizebürgermeister und Herr Kyril Manov haben unsere Komplimenten verdient. Die niederländische Musikkapelle war eine schöne Einrahmung. Weiterhin war der 40.Geburtstag der Survakari Gruppe von Batanovtsi Stadt eine schöne Erfahrung.

GERMANY

The national board of FECC Germany has taken a fantastic initiative to organize an affordable youth camp for all the youngsters of carnival clubs from all over Europe. I call upon all the FECC sections to collaborate with Ms. Marion Hirche and her team. The dates are July 14-21, 2012. The place will be COTTBUS. The all-in participation price for the whole week is €.130,00 (youth hostel) €.160,00 (guesthouse) and €.90,00 (tents)

Der nationale Vorstand von FECC Deutschland hat einen wunderschönen Vorschlag gemacht um ein bezahlbares Jugendlager für Mitglieder von Karnevalsklubs aus ganz Europa. ich tue einen Appell zu allen FECC Abteilungen um mit Frau Maion Hirche und ihre Team zusammen zu arbeiten. Der Termin ist von 14.bis 21.Juli 2012 in der Stadt Cottbus. Die all-in Teilnehmerkosten für die ganze Woche sind €.130,00 (Jugendherberge) , €.160,00 (Gasthaus) und €.90,00 (in Zelten).
