Within 5 weeks we have our 31st FECC international convention. Delegations from Ukraine, USA, Columbia,
31st FECC Convention
In 6 weeks we have the 31th FECC convention in the spa Vrnjacka Banja (28th May-5th June 2011) The 8 days-program is very attractive and I hope that many members and relations will participate.
Luxemburg, Germany, Belgium, Cyprus, Netherlands, Portugal, Malta, Spain, Macedonia, Bulgaria, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Romania, Serbia, Italy and Croatia have already registered. The organising committee of Vrjnacka Banja has done everything to guarantee a success. Also we have to thank the Tourist Board of Belgrade for their assistance to lodge all the participants in the Serbian capital.
Unfortunately our executive board is in a deep crise what you already knew and have concluded in the last magazine where the president and in charge for PR and promotion was completely ignored . Therefore I call upon an extraordinary general assembly in conformity with our articles of association art.13 (the request of at least 1/5 of the members having right to vote) .Likewise Dr. David Brandao as meself we don't want to continue in the present composition. I sincere regret to inform you this, but it is in the interest of our whole FECC family that we have a healthy board, therefore as team leader of the present coalition I ask the General Assembly to decide about the future on Monday 30th May 2011. I wish you and your family HAPPY and PEACEFUL EASTER
Next to Vrnjacka Banja you will visit the Serbian capital Belgrade and Pozarevac.
Innerhalb 5 Wochen haben wir unser 31.FECC Treffen. Delegationen aus USA, Ukraine, Kolumbien, Luxemburg, Deutschland, Belgien, Zypern, die Niederlande, Portugal. Malta, Spanien, Mazedonien, Bulgarien, Frankreich, Schweden, die Schweiz, Romänien, Serbien, Italien und Kroatien haben schon sich angemeldet.Der organisierende Ausschus von Vrnjacka Banja hat alles getan um einen Erfolg des Treffens zu maschen. Auch bedanken wir die Führung des Verkehrsamt von der serbischen Hauptstadt für ihre Hilfsbereitheit für unsere Uebernachtungen in dieser Stadt.
Leider ist unserer Vorstand in einer tiefen Krise was Sie schon bespürt haben in der letzen FECC Zeitschrift wo den Präsident und Beauftrager für Werbung und P.R. nicht gewähnt würde. Darum berufe ich eine Aussergewöhnliche Jahreshauptversammlung ein gemäss unserer Satzung Art.13. Gleich wie ich möchte auch Dr.David Brandao nicht weiter in der heutigen Zusammensetzung des Vorstandes weitergehen. Ich bedauere es Ihnen über diese Problemen zu informieren, aber es ist im Interesse der ganzen FECC Familien um einen gesunden Vorstand zu haben, darum wie Teamleiter des heutigen Koalition frage ich die Aussergewöhnliche Jahreshauptversammlung am Montag 30.Mau 2011 einen Entschluss zu fassen über das Weitergehen. Ich wünsche Ihnen und Ihre Verwandten Frohes und friedliches Ostern
Macedonia
Our vice-president Dr David Brandao was invited to visit the carnival of Prilep. Also was it the intention to start with the preparation for the 32nd FECC Convention which will take place in this city. During the Prilep carnival participated groups from 7 countries namely : Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Turkey ,Montenegro, Slovenia and Albania. Totally 1800 persons did participate in the parade. During the parade our delegates Dr. David Brandao, Alexander Cicimov and Guido Hendrickx have met the mayor Dr. Marjan Risteski. He supports all the initiatives of the FECC, because he was impressed as participant during the 29th FECC convention. After the parade the mayor took our delegation to Krusevo (25 km. outside Prilep) where is Hotel Montana situated ( www.montana.com.mk ). It is the intension to organize our 32nd Convention in this beautiful skiresort, because this hotel has enough capicity for all the participants. Later that day there was a nice diner with the mayor of Prilep, the mayor of Krusevo and leaders of several institutions and carnivalcommitte.Also our FECC deputy Mr.Vanco Georgiev.
Strumiga
On 5th March was the famous Bal Masqué in Hotel Sirius. All the dignitaries and sponsors were present. The FECC officials came from Belgium, Ukraine , Serbia, Portugal. On 7th March was the opening of the satirical pictures expo next there was the famous "clean Monday" lunch.
8th March is the most prestigious carnival day in Strumica as Macedonian carnival capital. All the youth from Skopje and other large cities went to Strumica. The parade was great. In the parade were 3000 participants and during the extreme cold weather there were 30 foreign groups.
During the reception organized by the mayor Mr.Zoran Zoev our president received a special award for his 20 years contribution to Strumica carnival.
A fantastic initiative of Alex Cicimov was to use the new parkinghouse for a carnivalparty for more than 4000 persons. Many compliments for Alex Cicimov and his wife Albina.
Montenegro
In contrast of the announcement done by the editor of the last FECC magazine Mr.Breyer there are no carnivals in June in Tuzi and Budva (Montenegro). The carnival in Tuzi is always celebrated during the shrovetide (before Ash wednesday). The carnival in Budva is always in the weekend around 1rst May.This year Budva has her opening of the carnival 29th April, the parade 30th April and the childrenparade on 1rst May.
Im Gegensatz zu der Erwähnung in der letzten FECC Zeitschrift unter Führung Herr Breyer sind in Montenegro keine Karnevallen in Juni in Tuzi und Budva (Montenegro). Der Karneval in Tuzi wird immer wie in Deutschland in Febr./März gefeiert (bis Aschermittwoch). Der Karneval von Budva wird immer gefeiert im Wochenende rund 1.Mai. Dieses Jahr ist die Eröffnung des Karnevals in Budva om 29.April, den Umzug am 31.April und der Kinderkarneval am 1.Mai 2011.
Ukraine
On behalf of the FECC board Mr.Alex Cicimov visited the famous Ukrainian city Odessa between 30th March till 5th April 2011. The main purpose of our general deputy Mr.Vasilii Chistikov was to introduce the FECC in this famous harbourcity. It was a great idea to do this during the celebration of the Festival of Humor, this is already a tradition of 30 years. On the sunny day 1rst April was celebrated " Fool's Day" and our delegation was surprised by the large number of stalls and stands in the streets of Odessa. Man sold carnival props, moreover they did meet many costumed people walking out of the parade. It shows us that this is a sign that the Odessa carnival has the real spirit to celebrate this carnival event.
Before the start of the parade the FECC delegation met the Mayor of Odessa Mr.Alexei Kostusev, also we met the president of the organising committee Mr.Andrii Neichenko. Strumica will invite some of the masks to participate in the Strumica carnival 2011. The mayor and the organising committee was invited to apply for FECC membership. We have to give a special compliment to Mr.Vasilii Chistikov and his wife Ina.
In Namen des FECC Vorstandes hat unserer Kassenrevisor Herr Alex Cicimov die berühmte Hafenstadt Odessa zwischen 30.March und 5.April besucht.Der wichtigste Zweck von unserem FECC Vertreter Herr Vasilii Chistikov war um die FECC in Odessa während des FEST von HUMOR zu introduzieren. Dieses Ereignis besteht schon 30 Jahren.
Am 1.April wird TAG DER IDIOTEN gefeiert. Unsere Delegation war erstaunt über die vielen Standen und Marktbuden in den Strassen von Odessa. Weiterhin waren viele kostumierte Leute auf die Strassen, welche neben den Karnevalsumzug laufte. Es hat uns gezeigt das Odessa den Schwung des Karnevals besitzt. Bevor der Anfang des Umzugs hat unsere Delegation den Oberbürgermeister Herr Alexei Kostusev getroffen und später der Präsident des Festausschuses. Strumica war begeistert über die Masken und wird einzelne Masken während des Karnevals 2012 in Strumica einladen. Der Oberbürgermeister und der Festausschus wurden beiden eingeladen sich als FECC Mitglieder zu melden. Wir wollen Herr Vasilii Chistikov und seine Gatin Ina bedanken für ihre Leistung.
Innerhalb 6 Wochen haben wir das 31.FECC Treffen im Kurort Vrnjacka Banja (28.Mai bis 5.Juni 2011). Dieses 8 Tagen Programm ist sehr preiswert und hoffen das viele Mitglieder und Freunden teilnehmen werden. Neben Vrnjacka Banja werden Sie auch die Serbische Hauptstadt Belgrado und Pozarevac besuchen.

Poland
The municipality of Lublin has asked to the international FECC president if he can assist for organizing an international
Unser Vizepräsident Dr.David Brandao war eingeladen um den Karneval von Prilep zu besuchen, weiterhin hat mann die Absicht um das 32.FECC Treffen 2012 bereiten, welche stattfindet werde in Prilep.Während des Prilep Karnevals waren dort 7 ausländischen Gruppen nämlich aus Bulgarien, Turkei, Kroatien, Montenegro, Slovenien, Albanien und Serbien. Gesammt haben 1800 Leute teilgenohmen in dem Umzug.Während des Umzugs haben unsere Vertreter Alex Cicimov, David Brandao und Guido Hendrickx den Oberbürgermeister Dr.marjan Risteski getroffen. Nach dem Umzug sind unsere Vertreter eingeladen worden um mitzukommen nach KRUSEVO ( 5km von Prilep) wo Hotel Montana liegt. Prilep hat die Absicht um das Treffen dort zu organisieren. Dieses schöne Skiresort has genug Platz.
Strumiga
Am 5.März war in Hotel Sirius den berühmten Maskenball. Alle lokalen Prominenten und Sponsoren waren anwesend. Die FECC Vertreter kamen aus Belgien, Ukraine, Serbien und Portugal. Am 7.März war die Eröffnung der satitischen Bilderaustellung und weiterhin das Mittagessen wegen ' SAUBERE MONTAG '
Am 8.März war der berühmte Karneval von ganz Mazedonien. Strumica ist wirklich die Karnevalhauptstadt in Mazedonien. Die ganze Jugend aus Skopje und andere Städte kommen nach Strumica.3000 Teilnehmer waren im Umzug. Das Wetter war furchbar kalt.Während des Empfang des Oberbürgermeister hat unserer Präsident eine Auszeichnung empfangen wegen 20 Jahren Leistung für den Strumcica Karneval. Eine tolle initiative von Alexander Cicimov war um das neue Parkinghaus zu gebrauchen als Disko während des Karnevals. Komplimenten für Aleksander Cicimov und seine Gattin Albina.
Netherlands
During the General Annual meeting the national treasurer Ms.Rita Pijnappel has resigned. In the coming meeting the discharge has to be done.Gertjan Visser will be temporary the acting treasurer.
Während der Jahreshauptversammlung hat die nationale Schatzmeisterin Frau Rita Pijnappel ab direkt zurückgetreten.Herr Gertjan Visser ist zeitlich der stellvertretende Schatzmeister.
carnival for the occasion of Lublin European Cultural Capital 2016.Der Stadtsrat von Lublin (Polen) hat den international FECC Präsident gefragt für seine Beratung und Hilfe bei die Organisation eines ersten internationalen Karnvals anlässlich Lublin Europaischen Kulturhaupstadt in 2016.
Romania
With the approval of the local council the Mayor of Resita Dr.Mihai Stepanescu has applied for FECC membership. During the carnival in Pozarevac Dr. Claudiu Dolot from Resita has promised to work on this membership.
Bulgaria
In the city of Yambol there will take place the Folklore Festival Jeravna 2011 (from 19-21st August) this event is an unforgettable jump into the past. During those days there are strict rules like ;
- only folklore authentic costumes, no matter of rangs, status and origin
- no contemporary gadgets are allowed (mobiles, lighters, watches and camaras)

In der Stadt Yambol wird das Folklore Festival Jeravna 2011 zwischen 19. und 21.August 2011 stattfunden. Dieses Ereignis ist einmalig und ein unvergessliche Sprung in der Vergangenheit. Während dieser Tagen sind strikte Regel ;
- nur authentische folkloristische Kleidung
- keine zeitgebunden Artikel sind gebilligt.

The masked-group Cucil din Branesti has informed us that they had interest in FECC membership.
Mit Genehmigung des Stadtsrats hat der Oberbürgermeister der Stadt Resita Antrag gestellt für FECC Mitgliedschaft. Während des Karneval in Pozarevac hat Dr.Claudiu Dolot mir schon mitgeteilt das Resita Mitglied werden will.
