CareSmart develops web-applications for healthcare. We believe that clients with significant workloads demand secure, reliable, data filing in a timely fashion and that we can fill that need.

Trained as a specialist in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and International Healthcare, I was pained from the outset by inefficient clinical systems. Dedicated to improving clinical workflow, I took yet another specialty, Medical Informatics.

I believe that well designed and well constructed systems provide technical leverage to improve the lives of both providers and patients while providing economic benefits to both employer and community.

Dr. Bensch, a UCSD trained PhD computer scientist, shared my beliefs. Our work has led us through many generations of EMR development to our proprietary Open Computerized Patient Record (OCPR) platform that is always ready for the next generation front-end.

Today we specialize in three areas: 1) developing web application tools to enhance in-house development projects, 2) licensing tools to partnering ASP developers, and 3) identifying special niche market opportunities in which we can use our innovative technologies as key enablers to rapidly capture a growth market.
