MCAS Biology with BSCS

A student-centered biology curriculum appropriate for students of all abilities

BSCS Biology: A Human Approach has been revised for the fourth edition to incorporate more sense-making and metacognition strategies, improve conceptual flow, and provide more support for teachers. An online learning environment has been added to the program, of which the print components are a part. The online environment includes all information in the print edition, videos, simulations, and animations. The fourth edition of the program is now available through Kendall Hunt Publishing Company.

Embedded within the Student Edition eBook are multimedia tools including video, audio in both English and Spanish, PDF transcripts, and slideshows that reach students who, as part of the digital generation, learn best with dynamic and interactive technology. The new digital learning network is personalized for teacher, student, and parent use and encourages communication and collaboration both in the classroom and at home.

BSCS Biology: A Human Approach is a general biology curriculum that makes frequent use of human examples to engage high school students in the fundamental concepts of biology.
