Description

Handwritten page, written by Fannie Stewart, based on notes in the minute books of Glasgow United Church, entitled “Lundy’s Corners”. The small hamlet of Lundy's Corners was located near McNab Public School, at the intersection of Anderson Road and the Sand Point - Glasgow - Burnstown Road. The first school house there was built in 1868, and it later became the Methodist Sunday School. The hamlet was moved and became Glasgow Station in 1894, when the railway was built (the station was first called Harvey).
