Blank SPSS data file to use for data entry

At the links below are blank files that can be read into SPSS for entering the data for one of your CIFA versions.

The file Empty CIFA 182 item data file 7-22-15.sav is in the sav file format used by SPSS as of the date of this posting.

The file Empty CIFA 182 item data file 7-22-15.por is in SPSS portable file format that we hope will be readable by all past and future versions of SPSS

The file Empty CIFA 182 item data file 07-23-15.xls is Excel 2007 format. Although data entry in sav or por file formats is recommended, we present this Excel file as a fallback for use in data entry by users who do not have their own copy of SPSS. The resulting Excel file(s) can be read into SPSS using file->open->data (then choose file type xls and choose the file).

Download the datafile of your choice below onto your disk with the indicated name. Then save one copy of this file for each of the CIFA versions for which you will be entering data (e.g., HGW, WGH). Use a file name that indicates that this is a file of item data, that indicates the version code, and that indicates your project number (e.g., HGW001_items.por). Enter your data following the specifications described elsewhere.
