Writing from the reader's
point of view

Effective writing addresses the most important information to the reader. What does the reader most care about--how will the message affect him? What does he stand to gain or lose? What information is most useful to your reader and her purposes? Thus, writing from the reader's point of view means you have to think differently about the message.
