Accessing sign-up sheets with Apple Products

I know several of you have had issues completing camp or other signups from your Ipads or Iphones and I can personally relate that it is annoying as it is not always convenient to remember to get back to our troop website when you are at your computer later! If you are willing to download a few apps and change how you navigate to the troop website (utilizing a Chrome app vs Safari), everything appears to work fine. I’ve been testing it for different signups over a few weeks now and haven’t gotten it to break!  

Here are the basics of what I think I’ve done so please try it out and let me know if you have further questions (you can email nsackett@valspar.com or we can mess with it at a troop meeting if you bring your device).

•  Download Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Chrome

• Access our troop website from Google Chrome (I saved the link below for easy access) instead of Safari.  If you navigate to a signup,  I think the 1st time it will prompt you if you want to open it in “Docs” or “Sheets”—say Yes.

• Once in Sheets, where most of our signups are just navigate as normal and edit.

• Lastly you may also need to have current operating systems (all of my devices happen to have them).   

Note one additional thing I did as well is download the Google Drive app and created a sign-in using my existing email address, however, I don’t think that is necessary.  I’d recommend trying it skipping this step.  However, if we find that the 1st few apps are not enough, please add this as well.
